Major IT companies such as Accenture, Wipro, Intel, Satyam, cognizant, IBM, Oracle and TCS are taking initiatives in Bio-IT field. Pfizer India has signed a preferred provider contract for its Biometrics division with Cognizant Technology. Accenture is working exclusively for Wyeth in clinical data management. There are lot of opportunities in integrated pharmaceutical and IT sector, therefore various Indian IT companies keeping good eye towards global opportunities in this field.
