Administrative Assistant -GSK-USA-King of Prussia, Pennsylvania

Performs administrative support to the Respiratory CEDD UM group.
Performs Lotus Notes calendar management for multiple individuals and schedules group and departmental meetings.
Generate/create and analyze budget information from a variety of sources.
Ability to manage, organize, and schedule events for multiple people /events.
Coordinates travel, itineraries and prepare expense reports.
Maintain up-to-date awareness of all appropriate GSK procedures and displays willingness to become familiar with new processes.
Records absence activity (exceptions) for the group.
Responds to routine departmental inquiries and directs higher-level questions to appropriate personnel.
Must be pro-active with minimal supervision and possess the ability to acquire/learn new skills, assuming new responsibilities as necessary.
Must exercise good judgment in setting priorities and able to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
Administers processes and projects in support of work done under minimal direction and review.
Produces and creates documents, presentations, spreadsheets, data compilation and analyses using computer applications, as needed.
Schedule new employee seating, security, indoctrination schedules, computer hardware and application access, etc.
Manages payroll (KRONOS) for the department.
Maintain departmental procurement cards, reconcile monthly bills, budget sheets and statements.
Ensures dept equipment is working properly and calls for service if it not.
Oversees foreign exchange students’ paperwork.
Supports regulatory documents for submission.
Assist with Operational projects, as needed.
