Training Administrator -WYETH-USA- Pearl River, NY

This position is responsible for administering the TOPS training documentation system as it applies to Vaccine Research Development and Quality Assurance Departments. The scope includes setting up initial employee accounts, running reports and adding/deleting courses and information from the system. This position acts as the SME for other TOPS users in Vaccine Research and Development departments and provides some general administrative support for the Vaccine Research Quality Unit.

Job Responsibilities

TOPS System Administration: Create accounts for new employees by entering data and following up with trainers and supervision to ensure that a curriculum is developed. Set up the curriculum within the system; notify IT to activate accounts when employees are trained on use of TOPS. Delete accounts as required. Keep employees’ curricula current by monitoring SOP changes within EDMS-R, modifying curricula as appropriate, selecting due dates for training and notifying employees of training due. Select type of training for each employee based on review of curricula and data supplied with SOPs. Modify curricula based on requested changes from supervision. Create syllabi, or modules within the system as requested by supervision. Give training credit for courses taken. Coordinate with site P&CI and review information from Isotrain/GxPharma to apply site procedures to R&D curricula as appropriate. Run reports and distribute on a monthly basis to keep managers informed of status of training within their departments.
