A Voyage towards the destination always needs breaks for better performance but on contrary if these break proven to be longer then, they will unnecessarily make you tired and will discontinue the purpose of it. Similarly this blog is my Back to the action again. Just after my University exams I was out for a family tour, I took it as my break from my studies, but forgot that this time it’s not going to be the same because I am not an ordinary student any more as I am associated to an organization concerned to my profession i.e. pharmainfo.net .

Here I would like to share some of my experiences I have in recent days. Exams especially the university exams are like nightmares for the students and if there are tight schedule exams then the nightmares comes without nap. Though I got tensed in every exam which is but natural, but this time I was able to manage the stress and pressure throughout the exam period despite of that tight schedule. The exams were over and the same day I get packed for my “Brake Free” Holiday tour.

I experienced the joy of Freedom that anyone could have after a panic month tortured by heavy books it was as similar as the day of 15th august 1947 but holding different intentions. My tour was to touch 2 Metro cities out of which one was the Businesses capital of India i.e. Mumbai. This was the second time I visited there but after 13 years, everything got changed but the people of that city can never change. Now the point comes why a future pharmacist is talking about his unfruitful journey. Well the phrase that struck to my mind when I begin to write after a long gap was: - “Journey gives Learning” and I learned a lot through this trip. It’s not at all important from where you extracted your knowledge but the fact is how you get it into yourself. So I decided to share those with you all as it is nothing bad to share them because these will help us to keep ourselves on track as we are humans beside the major role we play as the Pharmacist.

On a broad spectrum the major thing that travelling teaches us is MANAGEMENT.

For example to know the value of seconds one should travel in the Mumbai Local Trains. In seconds, you have to make In or Out keeping yourself safe from the hastening horde. So this gives you a very diminutive but the basic lesson of TIME Management which is helpful everywhere in life where ever we go. Pharmacists must be punctual of time that definitely splendor their profession. Another lesson one can take from it is, not to panic and try to hold nerves until you find any solutions. Also don’t give up in troublesome condition as they are created to test your patience. As it is said something best can come out in state of stress (if you are not over stressed).

The other thing I learned was ’Dedication to Work’ which was thought to me by the person I met personally. A lady in her 60ties was so much dedicated to her own developed Neuro Therapy (based on the touch therapy and applying pressure to some body parts and the important fact about that was it is unique in itself) in spite of her weak eye sight and injured backbone. She used to take health camps and can work continuously for the whole day.

I think and I admire dedication this single word holds many things intact in it. A dedicated person can reaches the hikes in his profession no matter what is it but what need is your involvement in that work. The same thing applies on us too, or I can say that in our profession without getting involved a person can’t create history with his work. Our profession needs the dedication and the hunger to give out something fruitful to the society. The scientists, the manufacturers and the mentors are the pure examples of the most dedicated professionals.

What I wanted is to drag every ones attention to these points which are diminishing from the eyes of the young brigade (including me) in the mirage of the lavish life and this took me to the other way to explain these basics of our life. In spite of the natural beauties I had enjoyed one more thing that rejuvenated me, was the excitement I had observed among every ones eye regarding my profession. I was lived up to the fact that I had selected the best stream as far and was confident to achieve the satisfaction I could drag through it. The people I met at this trip were highly intellectuals and that makes me feel more proud when I came to listen from them that I have opted a nice stream and appreciated me for it (which was totally different from very common question i.e. where you are planning to set your medicine shop……?)
