Peptic ulcer is the mucosal erosions in the gastrointestinal tract. The pathogenesis of peptic ulcer is the increased acid production and the decreased mucosal protection of the GIT. The most common causes of the peptic ulcer include H.pylori infection and NSAIDS over usage. These both causes form the pathogenesis of the peptic ulcer.
