Fluoxetine

The cylic compound having atleast two different elements in the ring is called as hetero cyclic compound. It is completely opposite to homo cyclic rings.

The category of fluoxetine is an anti depressant which is an serotinin reuptake inhibitor. Fluoxetine is used in the treatment of major depressive disorder, obsessive , complusive disorder, panic disorder, panic disorder and trichotillomania. It is not an heterocyclic compound due to absence of different elements in the rings.

Trazodone

Ondanetron is an serotonin 5 HT3 antagonist. It is used in the treatment of chemotheraphy induced nausea and vomiting and also radio therapy induced nauea and vomiting.

Spiperone

8-[4-(4-fluorophenyl)-4-oxo-butyl]-1-phenyl-1,3,8-triazaspiro[4.5]decan-4-one

Spiperone is a typical anti psycotic drug belonging to the class butyro phenone class. It is used in the treatment of cystic fibrosis.
