60 Pharmacologist to practice medicine

Here is a piece of news that Maharashtra Govt wants to allow professionals who study pharmacology to practice. Go through the link below: http://www.moneylife.in/article/doctors-who-study-pharmacology-can-pract... Then please allow pharmacy, nursing, physiotherapy (as orthopedics) to study pharmacology to practice medicine. They are million times better than ward boy-surgeons. Allow PharmD graduates to practice medicine, as their patho-physiology knowledge and depth of drug and pharmacology knowledge is quite superior.

after such kind of things, maharashtra state pharmacy council and pharmacy council of india should take action parallel to maharashtra govt ie. allowing M.PHARM(CLINICAL SUBJECTS)/PHARM.D should practise medicine at par with BHMS/BAMS/BUMS/BSMS/BNYS ETC. when i discussed about this news with a MBBS doctor, he told " from earlier only they use to practice by hiding themselves from the govt. now state govt. accepting all those crimes, by giving it new definition."

sir its a good news. but how far doctors will allow this to happen?? even for most of the patients are now aware of our profession. even how far will they accept ?? we are in such an system that government has interest in creating a profession but least interested to create the jobs for it. Pharma D profession has came into education system, but how far this society and other professionals accept is still a big question. isnt it sir??
