The leaves are used for serving or wrapping around other food before it is cooked.
The seeds are roasted or candied for eating directly,and they also can be ground to obtain almond-flavored flour for producing sauces and cakes fillings and cooked in soups,usually with chicken or beans.The seed head,fresh or dried is used in flower decorations.
