A Visit to the Industries

We visited 2 companies Reddy Labs and Glenmark at Baddi both were close to each other. After enquiring the locals we finally entered the premises of the domestic major Reddy Labs. We were given prior instructions such as not to carry mobile/cameras, we were divided into batches and initially we were seated and after the introduction we started towards the Q.C and Q.A. Lab. The persons who were guiding us were very young but were fluent in explaining. On enquiry I was a bit disappointed with their back ground as they weren’t from pharmacy. One of them was from science group and both were pursuing their degrees but nothing can beat experience in any field, they have been working for 2 and half years. Excluding that why I rate it as a memorable one is because it was the first visual/Practical experience to see the structure and organization of the industry. The way of organization, nature of work, documentation everything was of great interest to me.

Industrial tour-Part 2

After Agra, we left to Mathura and had darshan and left to the simla. As everyone know it is a beautiful hill station and to each such a marvelous place we need to crossover the steep peaks during the night. We halted at gurudwar during the early morning hours. Then we marched to Baddi to visit the industries which was the most memorable time of my tour.

Industrial tour-Part 1

we have started on the 5th of august and We reached Agra during the morning hours on the 6th of august. We had no much difficulty as everything was arranged by the Travel Agency but it was sultry. The moment we stepped in and the time we left we were sweating....... Sweating. We refreshed and there could be no guess where we have left. Nowhere but to the one of the famous wonders in the world, the symbol of Love TAJMAHAL. I had been to Aurangabad in my childhood where there was a replica of TAJ but the TAJ at Agra live before you is a fabulous moment in anybody’s life. It was mesmerizing and there are no words to describe it’s beauty. We had photographs as a group and individual too. Next, we had been to red fort and were guided well by the Guides.

Industrial Tour..

After many hurdles, we finally had a memorable tour. It was tough time in convincing our class girl’s parents even just before the night of our departure. Our situation was made difficult with the train timings which was expected to start at 3 a.m. from warangal. So, we have to start in the midnight and the rain welcoming us it was a tough journey . It was made even more adventurous as one of the vehicles we booked was not on the time and when the driver had arrived it was a bit late and we were afraid that we would miss train. Can you believe my friends even the fuel was empty in the half of the journey. I don’t know how the driver has managed but thanks to the God that we finally made to the station on time.

Why you Chose Pharmacy?

My friends ,we all pharmacists would recollect why we have chose pharmacy as our profession .
Starting with me..,, I chose because:

I was from the science group and had no interest in pursuing medicine.
I wanted to settle early in my life which was very much possible in Pharmacy.
I wanted any one in my family to guide me in my profession and there was one of them.
I found the syllabus to be a bit easy and I thought I could relax well after the strenuous Intermediate.
I believed that with my communication skills or soft skills I could find a job easily .
I could easily finish off the course along with my engineering friends and fly away with them if possible.
I read an article at the time in newspaper which placed pharmacy in the top 10 in terms of income in U.S.
These are my reasons and I would be happy to know yours but be frank .

The Day I would Remember For ever…..

There are many days in our life which are happy, horrifying also and I recently tasted one of them. I daily call my mom in the morning hours and on the Thursday of the last week while I was busy with my tour preparation when I did the same my mom was voice was so dull and she pretended to be well but her ill health was unveiled on talking to my dad. I was shocked to know that she fainted in the morning hours and had been admitted in the hospital and I immediately started to Hyd by bus. Thank god as I got an immediate bus and when I was traveling to my home tears rolled down just imagining my mom’s situation. It was the first of this call I have received , I wept for half of my journey as I love my mom so much. Many of the boys may not accept that they cry but I have cried as I love my mom so much. Then I was approaching my home I repeatedly begged god that nothing should go wrong.

Industrial Tour

It is time for me and my friends to have some fun with knowledge as we have planned to move to north India in the name of Industrial tour. We are planning to cover most of the north which includes the simla, agra, delhi and the renowned Tajmahal of course. I hope this turns a wonderful journey of my life with my best buddies with me. I am prepared for the tour with all the precautions .

The reasons why we chose this week was because our results may be out by the last week of this month. It was a really a tough time in convincing my parents as they were afraid of the recent blast over the nation. I am optimistic to leave and resolved but we have to see hat is going to happen.

We are busy in sorting the schedule and our faculty members took permission in the major pharmaceutical companies so this gonna be a recreational as well as educational tour for us.
