Submitted by Prof. K.V. RAMA... on Tue, 10/20/2009 - 16:09In this blog I would like to share some points related to General and Dispensing Pharmacy. Right from the first year onwards the concept of dosage form design was inherently incorporated in the experiments that are being done by the students. The swine flu pandemic may not have hit India hard in its first wave, but there are fears that the second wave which is expected in the winter could be worse. The sure way of combating this new disease is vaccination.

Submitted by Vedika Gulati on Wed, 10/14/2009 - 11:26The cloning of Dolly has proved that cloning of adult animals could be accomplished. Previously, it was not known if an adult nucleus was still able to produce a completely new animal. Genetic damage or the simple deactivation of genes in cells were both considered possibly irreversible. This however was not the case.
