Inauguration of Annual Day Celebrations Andhra University College of Pharmaceutical Sciences - 2008

Visaapatnam, India, Feb 25th,2008:

A function to mark the beginning of the celebrations done in connection with the Annual Day 2007-2008 of Andhra University College of Pharmaceutical Sciences (AUCOPS),Vizag,AP,India was held today in the gallery of the College. The function was organized by the III B.Pharm students and was attended by all the staff.

The celebrations were inaugurated by the Principal, AUCOPS, Prof. K.P.R. Chowadary and the Head of the Department, Prof. S.Satyanarayana. They inaugurated the celebrations by lighting a lamp. Prof. T. Satyanarayana, Member,Pharmacy Council of India and Prof. J.Vijaya Ratna also participated in lighting the traditional lamp.

Prof. K.P.R.Chowdary, in his inaugural address, exhorted the students to be dynamic and conduct competitions in various fields to all the students, staff and non teaching staff of the Department. He stressed the point that these activities should not be done at the cost of the academic schedule. He offered his best wishes to the students for a grand success.

Later in the day a photo session was held in which photo graphs of different classes of students were taken.
Annual Day will be held on 16th March. Right up to that day several activities will be held by the students.
Let us hope the celebrations will be a grand success and will bring a great positive momentum into the campus.
