School of Pharmacy & Technology Management’s 4th year MBA (Pharm. Tech) Student Manish Mishra has been selected to participate in BioCamp 2009, a Novartis Biotechnology leadership program, which will take place in Hyderabad on 11 and 12 August 2009.
Only 30 students have been selected from India and Two students from the India BioCamp will be sent on an all expenses paid trip to participate at the global Novartis BioCamp taking place in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA in October 2009.

About the BioCamp: Novartis has invited graduate students/young researchers in natural sciences, medicine, pharmacy or business administration or law (Intellectual Property Rights specialization) to the Novartis Biotechnology Leadership Camp (BioCamp).

BioCamp is a pioneering two-day event that brings the biotechnology sector closer to talented young people from universities. BioCamp has been sponsored annually by several Novartis affiliates since 2004 and will be taking place in India for the first time.

At Biocamp, 30 selected students will have the opportunity to learn from leading experts in the pharmaceutical/biotech fields, interact with professionals and work together with other students from various faculties.
