National Pharma Quiz API starting from 25 th September , 2009
Students of School of Pharmacy & Technology Management, SVKM’s NMIMS University have been organizing National Healthcare Event – ISTHMUS: Bridging Tomorrow for the past two years.
ISTHMUS 2010 would encase-
1. Corporate Symposium: A leading Healthcare forum for industry professionals, academicians and students
2. Student Idea Forum: An interactive platform, where we connect the best budding ideas to people who can take those ideas forward
3. Absolute Pharma Intellect (API): A National Healthcare Quiz
4. POSTER IT OUT: A National Poster Presentation Competition
5. i365: An international online group discussion in collaboration with a Canada based website-Pharmainfo.net.
Absolute Pharma intellect (API) is a national level quiz contest providing a platform to hundreds of professional and corporate individual to unite and put to test their Pharma intellect. NMIMS has been the only institution across the country to introduce and host such an event.
This brainteaser has indeed in the three years received an overwhelming response from all over the nation. Since the time API was initiated, the fact that corporate sector has been a part of API has been very evident. Teams from Kotak Mahindra Bank, Cipla, Pfizer, Torrent, BNCP, Citi group, NIPER, NITIE, Manipal University, JM Financial, Bhartiya Axa, HDFC, TCS, Kingfisher Airlines,to name a few,were contenders in the past and have indeed given us an energetic and encouraging response and feedback. The quiz masters in the past have been the very revered Mr. Gautam Ghosh, Mr. Amit Pandeya, Mr. Souvik Basu and many more veterans in this field.
Energetic and encouraging response in the past has led us to take API 2010 to the next level. API this year brings with it, the dynamic angle of an online quiz which is going to keep you hooked on to it. More than 200 teams are expected to participate in API for the online quiz. The audience expected is twice the last year’s number. The winners of this challenge will receive a fabulous cash price and other exciting goodies.
The online quiz will be conducted every 15 days with the winners declared getting a direct wildcard entry into the main day finals.
The whole and sole purpose of such an innovative and challenging event is to bring together professionals and students of pharmacy, under the same roof of thought, facilitate interaction and discussion on various Pharma topics where there is exchange and sharing of related views and ideas.
