Pharmabridge in Community Pharmacy at Edinburgh Scotland

The Pharmabridge is an International collaborative program promoted by International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) to foster exchange of visits by the pharmacists across the globe. Under Pharmabridge it is expected that pharmacists from a developing country go and observe the practice of professional developments and after return to their home country adopt the useful things of practice in health care system. Prof Anantha Naik Nagappa, Professor of Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences Manipal University, attended a three-week program at Boots Pharmacy Edinburgh Scotland during June 16th to July 10th 2009.

In his visit he has explored the role of community pharmacy in health care system of Scotland. He has interviewed many community pharmacists, officials of Royal Society of Great Britain Edinburgh, Scotland and Academia’s at Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen,University of Strathcylide, Glasgow, London School Pharmacy London and with Neil Pakenham of HIFA 2015 .
