The 5th Pharma-IndoChina Conference with the theme “Pharmacy for Sustainable Development.” was held during November, 21-24, 2007, organized by Mahidol University.
Under the theme of “Pharmacy for Sustainable Development” the conference focused on recent advances in all disciplines of Pharmaceutical Sciences, where oral and poster presentations were delivered by participants of the different parts of world. Furthermore a section designated as Young Scientists Forum has added encouragement to undergraduate/graduate students to present their work in an international environment.
Mr. D. Sreedhar, Mr. Manthan D Janodia, Mr. Virendra S Ligade and Mr. Ajay G Pise, Lecturers, Department of Pharmacy Management, Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Manipal University , Manipal, presented their research papers in the 5th Pharma-IndoChina Conference, held at Bangkok , Thailand during 21th –24th November, 2007 (Theme – Pharmacy for Sustainable Development). They have also participated in the panel discussion (Topic – Advances in Pharmacy Education) All the five papers presented during the conference were co-authored by Dr.N. Udupa. During four days conference, latest research, discoveries and inventions were presented and deliberated; potentially paving the way forward for Sustainable Development of Pharmacy.
The expenses for Travel, Registration and Accommodation were provided by Manipal University, Manipal.
