hi all.. let me take this opportunity to be true and candid. If i were given this question a decade ago definitely i ll go with every option. But today, i can see some politicians who really care for well being of their people, their prosperity. Mention not the name i've few politicians in my mind. Not that they are "purely" carrying out the work..i must say few non corrupt people still exist.. ------- Thanks to several people who had their roles being played in spreading awareness regarding pharmacy profession. Today if we are able to find few pharmacists in pharmacy stores thats because of their efforts. ------- With the new schemes for government doctors, they are heading towards village sides. ------- Aha, finally i hope you got the answer..Yes..its the college going student without a cell phone. These "commodities" have become "necessity" now a days!!!!

Hi to all participants. My choice will be "College Student without cellphone".The reason for selecting this option and not selecting other options are given below. In today's hanky panky life, we all deal with tremendous pressure to perform. Further, things are at our disposal easily and cell phones are not an exception. In today's scenario, we cannot imagine a person without a cellphone. Even a daily wage earners are seen with a cellphone which helps them to earn their daily wage! Surprising but true(based on experience and observation around). Students enjoy the best part of their life during college days and now a days we have cellphones with multipurpose and have functions such as SMS, MMS, computers, internet access, social networking etc. So it becomes much more easier for students to carry cell phone which help them in studies as well. Furthermore, cellphones are available at a very economical price which can be afforded. No wonder India is the one of the biggest markets for mobile companies. Incorrupt politician in India....Anyone's guess. Pharmacist in Pharmacy. To the contrary belief, many pharmacy shopowners today hire services of pharmacists. The amount paid by these pharmacy may be less or paltry but they do render services of pharmacist as have been observed by me personally. Pharmacy shops are owned either by Pharmacists or they provide their certificate. I do not mean that in all shops pharmacists are available but large pharmacy with a decent turnover and good services do employ pharmacists. Doctor in goverment hospitals in villages This again is a rare breed to find but those doctors who are employed by state civil hospitals are send on deputation in hospitals in villages. So my answer is "College student without cellphone".

I would add another option E) All the above which also includes "Persons knowing all this and yet do not act to change them!" [ Not students having cell phones though. How can students access great information from sites such as pharmainfo.net at college without cell phones ;) ]

Dear All, Need is a mother of development and development is a key for success. Time is a father of change and everyone should follow the trends of father to be a good son. With this explanation I feel answer 'D' is most appropriate among these four. Cellphone becomes now our fourth basic need (food, cloth, shelter and cellphone), many members I seen they get frustrated with cellphone call as it irritate them but still they can't get rid of it same like a person can't get rid of his girlfriend turned wife which initially very fascinating but after sometime irritates but can't do anything. Talking about remaining three, Option- A- I observed many politician try to do good things for public (and sometime they will do also) but corruption is rooted up to much extent it would become very difficult to survive for them in politics. But, many people are there. B- Being a Pharmacist if I select this option it is shame for me. C- I read about many doctors who devoted their life for the sake of different villages as well as Govt policies also driving many members towards village by compulsion or by interest or by facilities. So, If among these all answer I find option 'D' is most suitable as cellphone vanishes all barriers of communications which is required for everyone including students and so they utilizing with full extent. I will complete my explanation with - "it is easy to find diamond in a coal mine, it is rather easy to locate pearl in a deep sea, but it is very difficult to find a student without a cellphone*." *Conditions- may be these students will not bring cell in college but they definitely having and in options it is not mention that 'student without cellphone in college campus' rather they mention 'college student without cellphone' as in my college campus cellphones are banned for student but still the will bring. Thanks for providing me an opportunity to express my view on this question. Regards, Amol

Firstly i would say, the first three options had really put me into mortification since it will definitely become a biased option if i choose any one of them...yes!!! i mean it....since every coin has two sides i believe first three options have their own effects and side effects as well, like a therapeutically active drug have .... but we cant avoid using the drug since it has drawbacks and say all drugs are like such...right???

Well coming to option A) Incorrupt politician, since the leaders are elected on average voting, who take the oath that they "discharge the functions and will to the best of their ability preserve, protect and defend the Constitution and the law, and that they will devote them selves to the service and well-being of the people of Republic of India" but there are few but not all, who despise the rules of Constitution, some in many may be corrupted, but as said "Every cloud has a silver lining" there are atleast some who are incorrupted, but its difficult to find the silver lining in the cloud of this corruption.

B) we had a cartoon discussion also regarding this option, i feel a pharmacist means not the only the person who owns a medical shop, but he has something to do more than that. When that is to be done, then he cant sit at medical shop (of course can guide). But i, upto my practical experience would say that there is at least literate who has enough knowledge regarding the dispensing of medicines and instructing the patients and in most of the stores we find trained candidates, diploma persons (given a designation of pharmacist), chemists and druggists taking care of.

C) Doctor in government hospitals of villages, with changing world, there had been a shift in paradigm where the villagers prefer to consult a city/private doctor rather going to a government doctor, though the same doctor acts as govt. and private doctor as well (if am not wrong). When the patient to be treated has wandered then what can a doctor do sit at the same village without any cases. This is one case. There are some other cases, where the people rely only on the government doctor, for instance i had an experience where i had taken my grand mother, the response of some doctors really frustrated us, (with respect to their availability only for certain period of time), while the response of few doctors (where they really committed to serve the government and followed the strict rules and timings) really made us to call them gods. In most of the cases, if we talk about reality, the doctors, even in villages are playing a dual role, looking after the government hospital as well their private clinics. So, there would have been a definite answer if the option was changed to doctor in government hospitals in villages without a private clinic.

D) Finally we reached the corner of answer, college student without a cell, the people had preferred cells firstly as their source for communication, but owing to advanced technologies, and the prices getting lowered they started preferring cells not only as a source of communication but also in a safety perspective (since they care their relationships), and humans, being born intelligent they extended the use of a single cell to a multipurpose things like internet, SMS, MMS, what not???...... SO, i say first three answers anyways has their own effects and side effects, answer D) college student without cell, may be the most unbiased appropriate of all the given options.

The answer is very clear and straight..its A-Incorrupt politician.

yes, we can find a pharmacist in a pharmacy, as pharmacy is also being invaded by the corporate sectors, these are reflecting the professionalism, diploma holders and graduates in pharmacy would be there to assist the patients.

Coming to doctor in government hospitals in villages, Fortunately we still have many doctors whose motto is to serve the poor and the needy. let me exemplify with a example, I know a doctor named Dr.Prakash who stays near to the hospital and 24/7 he is available for the patients, he also recommends patients to other specialists to serve them better. let me emphasize that the hospital is in a very remote village in Medak district.

College student without a cell, hahahaha....funny but, speaking frankly we can see students without mobiles...Well we do find students who discontinued their studies due to financial constraints, such will not have.. The other class includes middle class (the major class) students who are not permitted to have a mobile in classroom or college so, they wouldn't get it..when there is no permission then they need not have one (though students with mobile are increasing at a rapid rate) .The other class is richie rich class, this class is exeption, we cant expect them without a mobile..but, we can find a student without a mobile..

The final answer would offcouse be A) Incorrupt politician (present scenario)--u can never see a politician who has not been indulged in any corruption.. the politicians will invest a lot during their champaign and obviously they would get it back through other sources... so, my answer would be A INCORRUPT POLITICIAN..

Note: This is strictly my opinion, not related to anyone (politicians specially).

Congratulations !.

We had trouble in deciding since couple of comments (explanations) are equally good. Your clear and concise explanation with example to each one made the difference .

Please note that we "may" or "may not" agree with your choice A .

My answer based on thinking and on experience is "A". Friends Think of all the movies that you know featuring politicians; how do they show them? Even when the hero is a politician they show him as struggling to avoid corruption or avoiding politics to escape corruption. There is no escaping the fact corruption has permeated politics like a bad fungus. The way BJP MLAs showed money in parliament, the way people disbelieve all politicians as reflected in media, the way we are looking at huge amounts of moneys in Swiss banks- these are all proofs of corruption in politics. Looking at it in a microlevel also; i know some politicians personally, well I know they are not beyond corruption. As for B, C and D I agree with Sravani.

Well. my answer is 'B' the pharmacuist. Unlike in othre category; Politician,Doctor, College student the pharmacist is either absent or not conspicuous even when presnt! Nobody knows who is this creature 'Pharmacist'! So, Pharmacist is the 'Most difficult to find creature' in India.

Well my answer is B: Pharmacist in Pharmacy Well I don't want to comment much about Option A as I am more concerned to my own profession. There are many politicians that are corrupt but it is inappropriate to say that most of them are corrupt. There are some honest ones also. But one thing I should definitely say is that our country can be best if the politicians make a little effort to think wisely about India. It does not give pleasure to one in commenting politicians of our own country as corrupt but one is forced to (sorry to say). In case of doctors in village we can find the doctors at the village hospitals, it is different that they only come to sign the attendance register! Or stay at hospital for half or less day! Or come once or twice in week to show the villagers that there are the facilities provided to them by the government and the Government doctors do exist. In case of Pharmacists in Pharmacy, yes, they are difficult to find because there are many hospitals which do not even know the role of Pharmacists in Pharmacies. They require only a person (not a Pharmacist) who can provide medicaments to patients by reading the prescription!! But they are unaware that pharmacists have lots of others duties to perform like counseling of patients, assisting the doctors and maintaining the Pharmacy records etc. I have hardly heard of Hospital Pharmacists except in the Pharmacy books that we read in our degree or diploma. But as the awareness is increasing few hospitals are recruiting the Pharmacist for their Pharmacies. But we can say without any doubt that it is most difficult to find Pharmacists in Pharmacies. I remember when I took admission in B.Pharmacy people used to say me that if I was going to be COMPOUNDER!!!!! Thirdly I think so that we can find the college students without the cellphones as there are some nursing colleges in which the cell phones are not allowed in the hostels so the students are not interested in owning a mobile phone. Also there are some students who cannot afford them due to poor monetary conditions. In some other cases parents do not allow. So many examples can be quoted although all are rare cases. So I believe that option B is most appropriate and justified. http://www.pharmainfo.net/kaur-randeep

Hi ALL, I am from Bangladesh. The option B(pharmacist in pharmacy)is the most perfect answer according to my country. Rationality of My answer: A. Incorrupt politician: It may difficult to find incorrupt politician in BD but not such as qualified Pharmacist. There are many incorrupt politician in BD.I think also in India. B. Pharmacist in pharmacy: Like India in BD, the main two words of this phrase(pharmacist in pharmacy)is contradictory at placement. Although Hospital pharmacy is starting it's own era,you may hardly find a pharmacist in a pharmacy. C. Govt.Doctor in Village Hospital: It is available in Bangladesh with a little bit absence sometimes.Think also same in India(according to your comments). D. College Student Without Cellphone: It is unbelievable in Bangladesh. Every student have one/two or even three cellphone/s with more than two SIM cards. So, I think the option B is rational and perfect. Thanking all of YOU. Responses from YOU are welcome.

The NPW 2013 is just 7 months away and this is the the right time to initiate some innovative program to do away from the routine harmless and pharmaceutically useless programs like lectures, fruit distribution, blood donation camp etc hither to being done.

We have to fight against:

1. The pharmacists who lend their certificate and vanish from the scene

2. Trading community who use lent certificates and carry on professional activity without binding him to be present

3. Regulatory authorities winking and bliking their eyes at the above

4. Central and State pharmacy councils for violating their bible Pharmacy Act 1948

5. Hospitals and nursing homes not appointing Pharmacists.

6. Hospitals not providing freedom to the appointed pharmacists to function professionally.

7. Pharmacists are not reswponsibly involved in formulating hospital drug logistics (procurement,  and management and distribution) policy. These areas are fully controlled by medical doctors.

8. No respectable remuneration to the pharmacists.

9. Quite a substantial quantity of medicines are going waste or misused / abused at domestic level due to lack of awareness.

10. Pharma industry not updating the pharmacist on their products as much as they do the Doctors.
