Emily J. Reinhard, Jane L. Wang, Richard C. Durley, Yvette M. Fobian, Margaret L. Grapperhaus, Brian S. Hickory, Mark A. Massa, Monica B. Norton, Michele CETP is a plasma glycoprotein that mediates the transfer of neutral lipids among various plasma lipoproteins. CETP facilitates the transfer of cholesteryl ester (CE) from high-density lipoprotein (HDL) to apolipoprotein B-containing lipoproteins such as very low-density lipoprotein (VLDL) and low-density lipoprotein (LDL) with a balanced exchange of triglyceride (TG).
