High-throughput screening: Beating the odds with informatics-driven chemistry

How can an R& D department focus on compounds that are not just active, but also drugable'. Rather than rely on the wisdom of one person, which was possible before the advent of high-throughput techniques, organizations must capture the chemical insights of everyone, something achievable only with a virtual library. And they need tools to enable the efficient mining of that library and eliminate the randomness and data overload that has characterized the high-throughput process to date.
