The HIV Community Liaison will be responsible for the following:

Identify allied healthcare providers who provide "Core Medical Services" as defined in the federally funded Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program such as treatment educators, case managers, treatment advocates, adherence counselors and other key members of AIDS service organizations (ASOs) and engage in discussions about Merck products and treatment strategies, as well as disease and disease management.
Support ASOs by providing educational resources designed to increase patient understanding of HIV/AIDS, available treatment regimens, and optimal approaches to disease management
Identify HIV advocacy issues and communicate to headquarter marketing and public affairs to inform the development of multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural strategies and associated tactics
Communicate a compelling and consistent vision of Merck's commitment to HIV
