Director, Marketing Analytics -WYETH-USA- Collegeville, PA
The pharmaceutical industry is becoming more competitive with substantial increases in selling and marketing investments. At the same time the industry is facing increased federal and state regulation. This position fills a crucial need in the company by providing direction to a team of analysts who are responsible for estimating the impact of marketing and selling initiatives and for comparing the benefit with the costs so that the best investment decisions can be made.
Job Responsibilities
*Works with Marketing VPs and Group Product Directors to define important marketing and selling promotions that must be evaluated for impact and return on investment. Must have a good understanding of the industry and operations of the Wyeth commercial organization. Must be technically proficient.
*Prioritizes work based on the needs of product management, organizes the description of the promotions to be evaluated, develops analysis plans and the research designs for estimating promotion impact, directs the evaluation activity and presents the results to marketing and sales management. Must think strategically, clarify priorities, and synthesize analytic approaches.
