Just a short introduction.....
Wesley College is a leading private liberal arts college situated (on the US east coast) in Dover, Delaware (DE). The Science Division at Wesley offers undergraduate majors in Biology, Biology Education, Biological Chemistry, Medical Technology, Environmental Science, and Environmental Policy. There is also a pre-professional track in Biology for students that are planning to go to medical, dental, or veterinary school. Wesley also offers a MS-program in Environmental Science. All Science undergraduates have to complete a research project as part of their Senior Research Capstone Experience. Additionally some participate in the sponsored mentored Directed Research Programs, where the undergraduate gets a (paid) National Institutes of Health – IDeA Network of Biomedical Research Experience (NIH-INBRE) or National Science Foundation – Experimental Program to Stimulate Competitive Research (NSF-EPSCoR) sponsored undergraduate research assistantship.

The Science Division is located in Cannon Hall – a three story legacy building name after the famed astronomer Annie J. Cannon, who was born in Dover Delaware.

The members of ChemCannon are:

1. Dr. Malcolm J. D’Souza, Professor of Chemistry, who will serve as the teams mentor
