Nice to see your interest in higher studies and its future! Coming to the job opportunities visit the below link: http://www.pharmainfo.net/pharmacistdixon/indian-pharm-d-no-1-employer-w... Manipal is one of the best colleges and you can opt that without any hesitation. Coming to entrance exam in A.P. it is EAMCET and for Manipal separate entrane test has to be attempted. For details browse www.manipal.edu In A.P. also number of good colleges are there like Malla Reddy college, Hyderabad; Chalapati institute - Guntur; GIET- Rajahmundry, Andhra University- Visakhapatnam etc. Rank to be acquired depends on the number of students interested in Pharm.D with ranks better than you - I mean whether they opt Pharm.D or not. Management seat is costing around 10 - 12 lakhs. Hence it is better to go through counseling. Hence read well and get your tasty course. Once you get into Pharm.D. you can get good guidance from all the personalities over here. ALL THE BEST. For further queries feel free to post a comment.

Dear Varma, Only one variation is there between MPC and BiPC students that too in the First Year. A you are from MPC stream you have read Biology and a BiPC student has to pass Maths. Except that there is no other variation even in jobs also.

Hi I am a current US citizen who is trying to go into pharmacy in India particulary Pharm D and my question is after completing a Pharm D program in India what are the steps needed to be taken to work back in the US as a pharmacist.

anis's picture

Hi sir,
whether the Pharm D courses of India are recognised by the U.S for work permit. If yes, it is necessary to appear for NAPLEX exam to obtain register pharmacist in north america.
