I came across an advertisement posted at http://www.pharmahelpline.org/ offering diploma courses specialized in different areas like herbal drug technology, cosmetology etc. These courses are online in nature and can be pursued on internet. The detailed courses offered could be found in-

http://www.pharmahelpline.org/diplomacourse.doc

The details of each of these courses could be found in the homepage of http://www.pharmahelpline.org/ under professional diploma courses.

The application required for applying for the online courses could be found at the following URL:

http://www.pharmahelpline.org/CourseApplicationForm.doc

There are many other options in career available on the site like National Level Pharma Talent Search (NLPTSE)Examination 2009, but the details of NLPTSE-2009 hasnt been put up on the site. Maybe, it would be put on very soon. Last year, it was put on the site during January... Might be , this year too, it would be available on the site in the same time...Comments are do invited!

Re: Useful info...

Well, I think online courses are good, but they cant train us that good as that of an actual realtime course...They ofcourse have lesser importance and value than the realtime course...But the advantage is that it saves a lot of time, money and energy...It is suitable for courses of lesser importance; but its completely futile for degree courses...What are your views?

Yes!

Dear Gupta,
U r right. Myself I feel that these type of courses helpp in knowing the concept and brief idea/ details about the study but they wont substitute the regular practical orientation. However they are useful for busy persons who are unable to fulfil their wish of doing a regular course.

Same thought here...

Yea, these programs are meant for busy persons...Actually, I have even heard that online courses are also offered for big degree courses like MBBS, but the practicals needs to be performed during a timed duration like weekends at a destined centre...Is this news correct according to you?

Not sure of MBBS!

I m not sure abt MBBS, but I heard even our M.Pharm under the name M.S. Program is also available as part-time some how in Bangalore and its branch is available in Hyderabad. Name unable to recall.

Oh...

Oh means online courses are available for these advanced degree courses! But it would fetch less attention than practical courses, isnt it? So, what do you think is the probablity of recruitment of the student following online course? It might be valued lesser in industries, right?

These degrees!!

These degrees whether online or part-time/ evening courses are not that much useful to freshers in job point of view rather they are prefered by already employed candidates for their salary hike as they are trained candidates by their own company.
