Here’s how this role will help: Develop the strategy for the project/program charters to determine timeframe, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing projects, staffing requirements and allotment of available resources to various project phases. Oversee the creation of project/program management plans that clearly define the project scope, assumptions, risks and overall project approach (including project resource needs, high level timelines and project communications). Provide leadership and motivation to program/project team members throughout the project life cycle; mentor, coach and train others in program/project management best practices. Responsible to executive leadership for measuring and delivering project/program outcomes successfully; implement and/or adapt processes and metrics to ensure project goals and objectives are achieved; set performance objectives and incorporates feedback from team and organization for continuous improvement. Facilitate the regular Program Management Meeting cadence. Review business cases to understand scope, timeframe, funding limitations, risks and staffing requirements for the project phases; coordinates and responds to requests for changes from original scope. Leverage project outcomes globally, assisting other business units, regions and countries where needed on global projects; coordinate project activities with activities of other projects. Assign duties, responsibilities and scope of authority to project personnel; direct and coordinate activities of project personnel to ensure the project progresses in scope, on schedule and within budget. Issue and communicate project status to project steering committee and other stakeholders as appropriate; manage project issues/risks in a timely manner and appropriately escalating when necessary. Here are the minimum qualifications for this position: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and eight years of experience. However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration. Must have experience running large globally-scoped Finance IT programs. Experience working with a large global company preferred. Experience in a regulated/validated process industry is preferred. Experience with SAP modules is preferred. Experience with SAP Analytic platforms or other business warehouse tools is preferred. Position directly supervises five employees and must be able to carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with our organization’s policies and applicable laws. This role will typically work within a normal office environment. Periodic travel is required. Why Mylan?
