Before you take admission part 2

Dear Friends, continuing with the previous part I add here some of my own experiences and some from my friends for the admission procedure.

Whenever you wish to take admission in specific college try to visit the actual campus rather than just discussing on phone and getting details from website.

When going there try to have some elder & responsible person with you.

Try to interact with the senior students if you know them or if you find someone you may think is helping enough to give you guidance on the college situation.

Do not be afraid to talk to seniors and staff, as this will help you to interact with them later too.

One can also talk about the placements, campus interviews held and students placed in various companies, and similar details.
-
You can also discuss regarding guidance for competitive examination.

Try to avoid making predefined decisions, like "My friends is going to in a specific college so, I too should take admission there!!"

The procedure of CET and rounds may take time so have patience and also keep note of the specified dates & work accordingly.

During the procedure keep all your documents ready, try to avoid missing some important document as it may take away a good opportunity.
-
If you are able to get admission a college of choice then its no problem but in case you don't get try to get yourself ready for the option and don't waste the opportunity.
-
Try to keep yourself fit and fine, try to prevent diseases, eat healthy do not take stress.
I have tried to enlist some of my thoughts here there will many more from all others I wish all my freinds can contribute and add their suggestions in their comments.

surely this topic is of intrest as the admissions for the new academic year are in progress.Even when I decided to join my college SIPS,Lonavla I heared many nice things about this campus but actually when I joined it I got to know that many of this assumptions were truly true but many were false too.so I thing this blog must reach to every admission seeker student so I would forward it to some of my friends.keep blogging on such topics All the best........

Dear Addi, I am happy to see your comment on this specific blog. Yes it is true that we have many rosy pictures about the institute we hear or see but it is only when we get involved that makes feel the real pinch.
But many times these things happen due to improper decision of students & or parents which the student suffers for rest of the period. That’s why I feel that one should take these precautions before taking admission.
You may pass the information to all your friends, relatives who you wish to help in taking right decision. Thanks for sharing your view.

It was a great effort from your side , that too at the apt time..Cheating by the college and college authority is a major problem in our field.you have given a good set of directions to the youngsters leading them to the correct way..congrats!!

Dear Praseen, Nice to see you back in action, hope your exams are over and you had nice time. My intention here was to appeal everyone of us to help those who are going to be involved in our profession. What it requires is just a few guiding words which can help our friends to select a right institute and in a right manner. I think each one of us has the responsibility to take this as mission and help our friends.

Dear Eswar, I am really happy with contributions by all of you and each of your effort to spread the awareness to our friends is worth appreciation. Our these efforts I know may not be rewarded but if this step helps even a single student to avoid mistake and take a proper decision I will feel we were able to at least help someone.

Yea, I completely agree....Even there are few colleges which conceal certain details until the admission process is over....Those details are automatically revealed once the students are admitted to the college...Hence, its advised to consult an experienced student of the college....He might give the idea about the college more clearly than others...
