Dear Friends, I am continuing with my previous blog on how to make your experience at the pharmacy more pleasant.

Many times the shops are overcrowded at such times you can't expect your pharmacist to talk to you as usual, try to avoid taking his time in such instances.

If the pharmacy provides home delivery do enquire if it is free of cost or fees is charged for it.

You can make a habit of discussing topics related to medicine with your pharmacist, so that you can improve your knowledge.

If you maintain a healthy relation with your pharmacist he too in return tries to help you.

Also keep a crosscheck on whether the pharmacist provides you right medicine and at right price or else you may be annoyed with him/her later and feel being cheated.

Try to behave with your pharmacist in a same manner you do with your doctor, because the pharmacist too is working for your healthcare.

I had heard this in one of the seminars about the concept of family pharmacist as like family doctor, this will make the pharmacist to care more for you and also improve your interactions. If this works then may be you'll definitely say with pride that he/she is our family pharmacist and in turn the pharmacist will surely provide more care and support to you.

I am leaving the topic to be discussed here and also in PharmIndia forum. Your inputs, views, suggestions, ideas and support is much needed to spread the health and build good repute for pharma professionals. I again wish to ask all my friends "Let's help to improve patient pharmacist interaction and also to build a good repute of pharmacist in society."
