A Journey Through the Path To Entry in SkillsTest 2008 Competition: Its Amazing Yaar

The next day I saw a mail from pharmainfo.net that they received my entry, now I felt like being there but still doubts surrounding mind whether or not I’ll make it to final six. All fingers crossed till March 3 when I got the message that I was one of the 12 shortlisted. It was just amazing, I thought I should have thought something big on the moment I had thought I’ll make it in the competition as it would have also came true along this wish. But, things are not that simple in life when I reached to my guide’s office I came to know he was on leave and will return in few days, Bang! I thought now what to do I immediately called sir and to my delight he said he’ll do come as early as possible and if not possible send the letter of consent signed and faxed to the office.

I was still not sure, what next? I can’t lose this opportunity and so I wrote a mail to pharmainfo.net that please extend the deadline for submitting the consent form, but there was no reply. That night I was restless and got back in morning to check mail but still nothing was going on. My mid-semester exam was going and on 4th March evening there was my paper, just by 4.30 pm I got message from sir that he had came and I was overwhelmed by his presence at cabin. I gave him details and as I was writing my paper he printed and scanned the document for me. I am really spellbound and speechless for the support of my guide.

On the 6th when I got the reply about my selection it was just perfect to see my and guides photograph right there on the site, I was out and out happy for getting selected and called sir to express my gratitude and happiness. He congratulated me and now as I said about this news to my friends it was just one and all saying “Party”, I was so much delighted and everyone congratulating me for making it there made the moments still more memorable. To describe in one of my friends words “Wow yaar, it’s amazing, it’s terrific, mind-blowing…”

I know entry is just the beginning and the challenge is yet to be completed, the big December party awaits and I hope I do make it a real bash by becoming the best. Indeed that will help me also to pay a part of my fees or to purchase my own books which I have written in as Wish list…..

I am really thankful to pharmainfo.net for giving me this opportunity to sharpen my skills, bring my friends closer, and also helping me to correlate with such a wonderful and supportive guide.
