We observe World Aids Day on 1st December every year, a day to mark our binding to prevent the disease & also to show that we care for those who are already suffering from this disease.  I dedicate this blog to all the people who are serving for this great cause & also to those who are fighting against the disease. May the efforts of all the researchers come positive & give us a new medicine for treatment of the HIV.

World AIDS Day, is dedicated to raising awareness of the AIDS pandemic caused by the spread of HIV infection.

One of the most important things you can do is to find out the facts about HIV. If we all have a good understanding of HIV we'll be better equipped to ensure that people living with HIV are treated fairly and with dignity and respect, and play our part in preventing the spread of HIV.

Respect & Protect is inclusive and highlights the responsibility everyone has to transform attitudes to HIV and encourage actions that stop its spread.

Respect & Protect inspires individuals to consider the different roles they can play:

  • Show respect by always treating people living with HIV fairly, respecting their confidentiality and challenging prejudice wherever it occurs.
  • Respect themselves and their partners by always practising safe sex to protect their sexual health.
  • Find out the facts about HIV, spread the Respect & Protect message and encourage others to do the same

HIV is a serious long-term condition and people living with HIV often face discrimination. Whatever your HIV status, there is a role you can play in ending HIV prejudice and stopping the spread of HIV.

The theme for this year too remain as "Stop AIDS. Keep the Promise - Leadership"

To be Celebrated...

Dear Lucky,
World Aids Day has to be celebrated without hesitation to bring awareness in public.
Everyone should come forward in their surroundings to be clear about issues concerned with AIDS.
