Obtains pertinent information via various communiqués concerning medically related product information requests, and enters that information into the validated computer database.

Accurately responds to queries from health care professionals and consumers as instructed during training in utilizing written and verbal Standard Response Letters and other approved resources.

Recognizes, documents, and transfers specific details of any spontaneous adverse events to Global Safety Surveillance and Epidemiology (GSSE) Department utilizing the available job aid

Recognizes and refers medication errors, product confusion, counterfeiting, product identification questions, and product stability inquiries to Product Quality.

Triages Product Information requests received hard copy or electronically from Sales Representatives, MSLs or medical conventions and identifies appropriate correspondence. Monitors requests for product information from sales representatives.

Recognizes the need to transfer or escalate inquiries to appropriate departments or management when outside GMC Contact Center realm.
