He was a recipient of Merit Scholarship under National Scholarship Scheme. He has 41 national and 6 international publication in reputed journals. He was appointed as a external Examiner and Question paper setter and paper evaluator for B.Pharm course by T.N Dr. M.G.R Medical University, and SRM University , Chennai . He was appointed as a Research Board of Advisor by American Biographical Institute , U S A in 2006. He was also a reviewer for Pharmacognosy magazine ( Phcog Mag), international journal of green pharmacy, asian journal of pharmaceutics, biomed, natural product radiance and Indian Journal Pharmaceutical Science . Until he guided 4 M.pharm students and acting as NSS Programme officer in the same institute since 2004. Currently he is doing research work under the guidance of Dr.T.Vetrichelvan, Professor &Head, Adhiparasakthi college of pharmacy, melmaruvathur in sastra university, thanjavur.He is a life member in Indian pharmacist association, IHPA, APTI, IPGA, In Pharm asssociation, pharma helpline society, indian council of chemists, indian society of pharmacognosy,Indian association of pharmaceutical scientists and technologists, Indian pharmacological society, member in science advisory board , indian association of biomedical scientists , life member in alumini association of punjabi university, indian associaton of chemists and biologist, association of community pharmacist of india, LASA and registered pharmacist in Tamil nadu pharmacy council etc. His name was selected in biography of 2000 research scientists of 2008-2009 by international biographical institute
