Hi, as it’s stated by Darwin “Struggle for existence and survival of the fittest”. Every one may not really struggle for just living, but work hard to be the best in his work. In this struggle or pursuit, he so often misses the main cause he is working for, that is his health.

Development of New Chemical Entity (NCE) for combating the new ailments and the old persisting diseases is a crying need for today’s Pharmaceutical Industries. Several approaches are being tried by the industries, academicians and researchers; but the success rate is not much encouraging.

Following Barack Obama’s victory in the race to the White House, in-PharmaTechnologist.com examines what this could mean for the pharmaceutical industry. Obama laid out his some of his policies that will affect the pharmaceutical industry in Science Debate 2008, which took place in August and September.

More than 1,000 small scale pharmaceutical units employing around a lakh of people have shut down their operations in the last one year as they could not cope with regulatory changes and the current financial crisis, says an industry body. That is at least three units a day on an average.

I am in continuous search for the Universities offering part-time Ph.D. registration in Pharmaceutics area all over India. I need your help too for the same. Please let me know if any of the viewers have an idea of the notification.
I have the bad habbit of not reading news paper and hence not aware of notifications hence I appeal all the visitors of this site to inform me the info about any Ph.D. notification.
I am willing to proceed for my Ph.D. by doing job as well as research work.

Dear All,
You all must be aware with the fact that IIT`s have announced to discontinue GATE for subject code PY (Pharmacy) next year. There will not be GATE 2010 for Pharmacy.

Then What will the next exam or criteria for UG student to take admissions in PG?

I request all pharma person to put light on this serious issue.

Hello everyone & welcome to yet another discussion for our forum. Friends I posted one of the blogs on the topic of distribution of freebies, it really is a matter of concern that these are being not channelized properly neither they are being used in the manner they should be.

The free drug samples are meant for physician to give it to needy person or the patient who needs them or during emergency conditions, but it is seen that they use them as templates to showcase their popularity, make income from these free samples by selling them to patients.

The main purpose and objective of current discussion is to make a talk about pros and cons of academic research and corporate R&D, to discuss the growth in both the sectors (their status in India), the competition, the tie-ups between them etc. This area really need a good deal of concentration and focus today as academic research is also competing harshly with industrial research in India. My dream college is based on the spirit of Rabindranath Tagore when he said " OH ' my Father, Let my country awaken into that Heaven of Freedom where narrow walls of ignorance do not divide the people."
I want a college where the very air is smelling faith, honesty, positive spirit and intellectual excellence. Look at the students: young, energetic dynamic, disciplined and centered , focused on enriching themselves every minute. They are playful, cracking jokes left, right and center as only youngsters can do, no seriousness in them, they can make jokes from tragedy stories also since tragedy stories do not really touch them, they are on the fringe of life yet;
only testing waters, not yet ready to jump in.
So they are our students , mind you , one important eligibility criteria for admission into our college is--
students must always be smiling. If anyone cries for any reason whatsoever , they will get the TC. Right?
