clarification regarding pharma d

my brother have completed intermediate with 85% in BIPC now he is aiming for pharma d but we are not able to get the appropriate information from anyone i came to know about you from one of my professor so please clarify my doubts:
1.is the pharma d in india course is valid or accepted by NABP?
2. what are the examinations to be be appeared for a 6 year pharma d student to get a license or register as pharmacist in US?
3.is the exams are too difficult to get license?
4.if we completed pharma d course( 6 years) in india still is there any necessary for any internship hours in USA as i came to know that 1500 hrs of internship is necessary?
5.is the USA is the only country which has oppurtunities in pharma d or any other countries also have a bright scope in the pharma d?
6. do india has a scope in the pharma d in coming years?

Well....I have a query abt Studying 1 year honours degree at NIRMA University.
Do we need to have continuing Education of 5 years B.Pharmacy or can we skip a year in between.....because my 4 yr B.Pharm completed this year and i will be doing 1year honours from nxt academic year ??
Does the ECE approve gap in Education or they prefer continous Studies ??

the link was excellent and perhaps given a lot of information but still i have some doubts:
1.regarding intern hours whether we should do again another 1500 hrs in USA or 1500 hrs in India as a part of pharma d?
2.regarding pharmacy law is it a exam or we should read it?
3. is there any other countries which has good scope for pharma d?
4.is the exams are too tuff/

Answer
1. Intern hours is not fixed like 1500. It depends on state you want to get licence . Ex: Micigan 1000 hours , Florida 2,500 hr . Obviously you have to do in US . But some states like Micigahn will reduce number of hours if you have outside experience. It is case by case ..
2. Pharmacy law is a muliple choice exam you need to pass to get licence in a perticular state. If you want licence in any other state, you need to pass other State law exam separtely. Only NAPLEX is common exam to entire USA.
3. Ofcourse ...any where , where pharmacist needed in hospitals, they repect PharmD
4. Not really but it is a subjective question..

1. i am in dilemma because it was mentioned necessary at one place and not necessary in other place by some person so please clarify me regarding FPGEE also sir .

Yes FPGEE
As of today , YES . Indian Pharm D graduates would have to write FPGEE for sure . I am not sure the rule wiil be after 6 years . Ofcourse .. nobody ...
regarding examination

1. do the FPGEE and NAPLEX and law examination are the online exams or we have to write in USA or there is any centre in INDIA for writing the exam.?

1. FPGEE and NAPLEX and law examination are online exams and you can write only in USA as of today (2009)
2. No need of any work expereince to write FPGEE . You need to complete intern hours to write NAPLEX and Law
3.Another important thing is you need to clear english exams also
TOEFL ibt
Reading 21, Listening 18, Speaking 26, Writing 24.
OR
Paper-based TOEFL – 550
TSE – 50
Without english, no state would give permission to start internship....

i dont know about jobs they say the students have a lot of oppurtuinities in foreign and even they have their own hospital they could hire him and they also will give coaching for the foreign exams which were necessary for practicing in US and fees is around 50000-60000
