IPA president Dr.C.Gopala Krishna murthi given a interview to Eenadu (A Telugu news paper)dated 8 September 2011.He told that Pharm D students can Start their Own practise after completion of their pharm D and Pharm D graduates are going to appoint as a chief clinical pharmacists in the hospitals.In India there are more than 100 American accredited corporate hospitals are there.In that hospitals also the usage of drugs is carried under the guidance of clinical pharmacists(Pharm D graduates).Pharm D graduates would go for a Ward rounds along with Doctors in order to maintain good quality of life to patients and to reduce the economic burden.Pharm D graduates can advise the physician on prescription because Pharm D graduates have the better knowledge on drugs..
