Job Responsibilities

*Supports Facilities Operations and Maintenance to ensure that all equipment is adequately maintained and functions efficiently.

*Provides consulting engineering services to Facilities Operations and Maintenance.

*Designs and writes technical specifications. Prepares detailed instructions for the fabrication and installation of plant equipment and related machinery.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Engineering and Maintenance staff to identify and submit Mid America Energy rebate applications.
• Responsible for reviewing each electrical panel and fill in all panel legend.
• Work with the engineering department in managing and over seeing the site’s major electrical project scheduled for the summer of 2008.
• Investigate and identify any potential reduction in the amount of sewer discharge. Confirm the savings identified in the 2007 rapid action team cost savings project.

The Maintenance Technician II provides maintenance and troubleshooting services to a manufacturing cell or to central utilities operations. Incumbent is accountable for responsibilities such as: maintains, alters, installs, trouble-shoots and repairs equipment, machines or buildings of mid level and/or high level of complexity under general direction.

Job Responsibilities

•Responsible for ensuring that machines are set-up in accordance with Wyeth and manufacturers specifications.
•Documents and approves settings prior to activation.
•Monitors and assess machine or equipment performance and works with operations staff to ensure scorecard metrics are achieved.
