The key focus of the Psychiatry Specialty Manager (PSM) is to increase the level of Wyeth psychiatric product prescribing within assigned geography for the appropriate patients. This is accomplished through use of a deep knowledge of psychiatric products and disease states, and highly developed sales skill and customer interactions. PSMs must also be able to effectively assist in the implementation of marketing programs (e.g. Visitor’s Speakers Bureau) within their assigned geography. The incumbent must strictly abide by all Wyeth policies, Wyeth Code of Conduct and government regulations.

Job Responsibilities

*Possesses and actively maintains knowledge of all job-relevant product and industry information at a level that permits effective interaction with customers and internal Wyeth peers, managers, and partners.
•Maintains a deep understanding of the five Best Neuroscience Rep Attributes, Respects the Doctor’s Time, Honest and Trustworthy, Assertive Selling, Knowledgeable, Responsive and the ability to execute as part of daily interactions with customers.
