Rheumatology Specialty Manager - WYETH-USA-Birmingham, AL

The key focus of the Rheumatology Specialty Manager (RSM) position is to increase the appropriate prescribing of approved Wyeth Rheumatologic products within assigned geography. This is accomplished through maintaining a high level of knowledge of Wyeth products, disease states, and the specifics of managed care insurance plans, and through effective influencing and education of Rheumatologists and their staff. The incumbent must strictly abide by all Wyeth policies, Wyeth Code of Conduct and government
regulations.

Job Responsibilities

*Sell effectively by developing pre-call plans, effectively engaging customer at beginning of call, demonstrating the value of Wyeth and Wyeth products, asking productive questions, confirming information gathered from customers, summarizing needs and linking them to benefits, and supplementing presentation with appropriate reprints and support materials to accomplish sales call goals.
