Mode of submission: email
Eligibility :The presenting author should be 3rd or 4th year Bachelor of Pharmacy student , M-Pharmacy students, the young teachers (below 5 years of experience) and proessionals working in pharmaceutical industry are allowed to participate..

Procedure:
Step – 1: Registration in the site (free) through the link http://www.pharmainfo.net/user/register
(All the authors should be registered members in the site with Photo on their profile page) NOTE : If you already a registered member of pharmainfo.net, you don't have to register again.
Example for a profile page link : If you registered with user name eswar, your profile page link would be http://www.pharmainfo.net/eswar
Step – 2: Submission of abstract as per the guidelines given in annexures -1 (see below)
Ste – 3: Submission of power point as per the guidelines given in annexure-2 (see below) by those whose paper was accepted.
Annexure-1:
Abstract details:-
To be submitted in Ms word file with Times New Roman font with font size of 12. Title shall be in a font size 14.
Maximum words limit is 300 words.
One author per presentation. In case of student author, it must be co-authored by a Professor/Teacher
Abstract should briefly reflect the moto of your topic under presentation.
Sequence should be like – Title, Authors name ,Correspondence address, Correspondence e-mail (compulsory), Area of competition followed by your abstract data containing not more than 300 words.
Pharmainfo.net profile page link of the author(s) should be given at the end of the abstract and profile page should have photo by that time of submission of abstract
Annexure-2:
Power point presentation details:-
Maximum limit of the number of slides - : 50
Size limit – 2 MB
First slide should give the title, authors photo,name and profile page link.
Followed by Introduction, Objective, Main script, Conclusion, Acknowledgments and References.
NOTE:
1. All submissions (must be authors original work) are to besubmitted to contests@pharmainfo.net
2. Last date for abstract submission : Aug 28th, 2009
3. Authors of accepted papers will be informed through email by Aug30th, 2009
5. Last date for submission of power point (By accepted participants only ) : Sep 04th, 2009

This is one of the best opportunity for a pharma student to prove his talent and gain knowledge. There are many american sites for their students to encourage in their pharma field but in INDIA for Indian students there are very few, and this pharmainfo.net is one of that. Sir i have a small query, that you did not give a clear idea of presenting the online ppt (how to question others ppt and how to answer our ppt questions), so please guide me about this query. problem in opening slides

We have checked in Internet Explorer, Firefox and Chrome. We would able to view all pages . Not sure why you are getting this problem. Please check in another computer .
Distortion in the slides.

I would however like to make a humble request.
There has been distortion in the following slides.
I request you to kindly look into the matter and see if any rectification can be done.
Is it possible that i could 'PDF' the file and send it to you again and you could put up the new PDF version again?
Im really sorry to disturb you with this, but the way those slides are appearing is strongly not how they were originally designed. Especially the arrows. They are pointing in a different direction altogether which is being very misleading.
Also 23 out of 47 slides are distorted, which is taking the toll to more than 50%. All of the presentation is losing its impact because of this.

regarding the comments and queries regarding the presentations of co participants, is it that both the author and co-author have to post comments. or will it be sufficient if only the author does that?

Negative marking !
Negative markings for your comments to some one . If some one posts nice, you will not get negative marks since it is not in your control. I will give you example, you need to ask questions for at least 30 participants ..right.. some one can do this just by posting "nice presentation" on 30 others to reach the mark . We do not want to encourage any such ideas . This is scientific discussion, every one action should be worth of time .

My abstract had been selected for the pppc-02. but it has been mentioned in the requirements that the maximim size limit for the ppt is 2Mb.
But sir there is a problem 2 accomodate all the slides within the size limit 2Mb. Is it compulsory 2 restrict the size tomaximim of 2Mb?

It is a requirement . Bigger files will not load in slow internet connections and lot of people will not be able to see your presentation.

My abstract has been selected for the PPPC-02. It has been mentioned in the site info. that online presentations will start from 11th of september.I wanted to know by what means will the online presentation take place? As in by active means like video conferencing, or by some other passive ways.
Looking forward to be enlightened by this particular piece of information.

PPPC-02 Participation
Participation is "Online" means you need to use your computers . I.e you can particpate from your home or college using computer with internet. No need of camera . You need to post questions to others presentation and answer any questions posted to your presentation. Please see last time competition.
