Eligibility :
The presenting author should be either 2nd,3rd or 4th year Bachelor of Pharmacy student or M.Pharmacy student of Bapatla College of Pharmacy
Procedure:
Step – 1: Registration in the site (free) through the link (http://www.pharmainfo.net/user/register) and verify the registration email sent to your email address used for registration. (All the authors should be registered members in the site with Photo on their profile page) NOTE : If you already a registered member of pharmainfo.net, you don't have to register again.
Example for a profile page link : If you registered with user name eswar, your profile page link would be http://www.pharmainfo.net/eswar
Step – 2 : Submission of abstract and Power Point Presntation together to contests @ pharmainfo.net.
Abstract Format details To be submitted in Ms word file with Times New Roman font with font size of 12. Title shall be in a font size 14.
1) Title :
2) Area of Contest : Ex: PHARMACEUTICAL CHEMISTRY
3) Sub Topic : Ex : Chrono pharmacokinetics Note : Title should not be sub topic name i.e you can not keep Chrono pharmacokinetics as your title
4)Authors : Student Name and Guide Name
5) Abstract : should briefly reflect the moto of your topic under presentation data containing not more than 600 words. 6) Key words : up to 6 key words
7) Profile page link of the author :Ex: http://www.pharmainfo.net/ankit
8) Profile page link of the guide : Ex : http://www.pharmainfo.net/patel-mayur
Power point presentation format details:
Maximum limit of the number of slides - : 50
Size limit – 2 MB
First slide should give the title, Student Photo and Guide photo,name, address and profile page links.
Followed by Introduction, Objective, Main script, Conclusion, Acknowledgments and References.
NEW GUIDELINES
1) Slides should contain references (using numbers only) for the text they provide on every slide (unless only using the authors own words). The text should also be referenced (using proper format such as http://www.indiana.edu/~citing/MLA.pdf at the bottom of that particular slide. (In short own words with reference at the bottom for each slide for the sentenses)
2) If sentences used appear in a text book, then they should include the Text book name, author name, publisher’s name, page numbers, and year of publication; as shown in http://www.indiana.edu/~citing/MLA.pdf
3) It is preferable that each sentence is written in the author’s own words. In general, the author cannot use more than 5 words ("as is") directly from a reference.
4) At the end of the presentation, please also include the following statement….. "This presentation does not include plagiarized material".
