Confirmation of Breast Cancer just by Temperature measurement
Jayant Vidhya a scientist basically from India, working in Scotland’s Dundi University found out a new technique to identify Brest cancer as early as possible.
In this technique, if body cells of breast are heated to 20oC, still the cancerous cells will remain cool from the rest of the cells.
In this program, team has operated 6 women with the breast cancer and dissects the breast with the un-cancerous cells, and repeatedly heated the cells samples to 20oC with heat pipes. Every time on heating un-cancerous cells heated up upto 20oC, but cancerous cells remains cool even on heating.
These all results are confirmed by the High resolution thermal imaging cameras.
So due to this technique, Biopsy will not have to be carried out each time to identify the breast cancer and women get freedom form the painful biopsy and quick decision can be taken up.

is it possible in-vitro???
Is it possible to conduct temperature elevation on normal cells and carcinogenic cells in-vitro???My be conducting it in-vitro might help us know if such changes occur because of property of those cells, involvement of nervous system of body etc.....Is it feasible???
Novel Neoplasm diagnosis!!!
Dear pratyesh, compared to other diagnsis techniques this method of diagnosis is very covenient,
what is the resone the cancerous cells becomes cool is there any change in the metobolic activity of the cacerous cells?
Is there any relation with the time of exposher??
If the temperature is increased to above 20oC,any change in the temperature of the cancerous cells??
May you kindly give further more informatin about this novel diagnosis,if possible?????
KISHORE...
Tumour diagnosis
praveen
IS this techniques applicable to only brest cancers or any type of cancer
mat i conformed to know that why the heating temperature fixed to 20 C what happens if the temp increase to 20 C and what happens to the cancer cell at hat temperature if you have those information can you please send that topic
Re: non-invasive!!!
In a report a novel observation about breast cancer found out that 6 fresh pathological specimens of breast cancer (1 mastectomy and 5 lumpectomies) with a sensitive infrared camera. Team has found out that, following exposure to hot air for 1min, the cancers warmed up much less than the surrounding normal breast with a difference ranging from 12 to 20 degrees C. So team believe that this physical property of cancer should be explored and may give us better insight into the nature of cancer, its diagnosis (including intraoperative diagnosis) and targeted treatment.
Novel diagnosis...
So, novel diagnosis for breast cancer can be expected in future. Is it applicable to other types of cancers also? Did you got any information regarding that?
Anyhow, if like these less invasive methods got implemented, the patient will be benefited to some extent in his diagnosis zone.

non-invasive!!!
wow, it might also guarentee non-invasiveness unlike other methods. This means that it possess dual advantages of non-invasiveness and better reliability.May you kindlygive more deatils about this research, if possible???
