Project Management Jobs

Responsible for managing productivity and sustainability of a Drug Discovery portfolio comprising 20-50 projects with an annual combined (internal and external spend) budget of between £150-300M, with the ultimate aim of delivering new medicines.

Establishes and develops long-range strategic plans by identifying internal and external strategic issues and opportunities that could affect growth and profitability. Identifies possible business opportunities and maintains surveillance over competitive markets. Develops and monitors profitability, productivity, and growth targets.

• Manage the integration and ensuring sufficient support (Stiefel Business Unit and GSK infrastructure) including project management of on-going Stiefel Business Unit evolution (and support the implementation of major initiatives that impact the Stiefel Business Unit).
•Develop and maintain Stiefel Dermatology integration plan as well as future integration into the Dermatology business

Manages execution of medium scale projects related to technology solutions and long-term functional business requirements:

Basic Qualifications

College degree in animal science, biological science, or other related field required; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

Prefer MS or other advanced degree in a biological science.

AALAS certification at LATG level required if coming from a laboratory animal background (applicable only to positions involving in vivo work).

Provide Technical Leadership responsibilities as well as project management; with broad industry perspective, provides technology direction and process improvement.

Job Responsibilities

Manage the Site Business Systems Council, the long range Site Systems Strategy and associated process and systems Plan of Record. Ensure overall alignment with Site and Core team plans. This includes alignment with External Supply and Country system strategy where applicable.

KEY OBJECTIVES/DELIVERABLES:
- To ensure fulfillment processes are in alignment with all copyright laws, compliance policies and medical policies and procedures, identifying potential exposure areas and developing action plans to strengthen operational oversight and compliance.

Education Requirements: BS and 8-12 yrs, MS and 6-10 yrs, or PhD and 0-3 years of experience in scientific writing, publication management, or related areas - experience in the pharmaceutical field is preferred.

Required: Strong skills are required in the following areas: project management & implementation, customer service, written & verbal communications, and negotiation.
