Manages execution of medium scale projects related to technology solutions and long-term functional business requirements:

Manages projects that typically last up to 18 months, involve more than 10 team members and two or more functional units with multiple interdependencies to other functional units or projects. Project contexts or environments are moderately stable, with a moderate number of distinct disciplines, methods, and approaches, moderate legal, social, or environmental implications, and low overall expected financial impact and strategic importance.

Monitors, evaluates, and controls project performance using technical expertise and project management skills.

Monitors risks to projects. Develops solutions to complex problems through the application of ingenuity and creativity.

Responsible for monitoring fiscal resources related to projects and recommending means of keeping within budget.

Manages development of plans for projects:

Develops overall project plan. May provide input to long-term IT strategy necessary to achieve organizational objectives.
