Some interesting chemical molecules especially the ursane derivatives and mono- sesquiterpene derivatives have been isolated from this plant. However, not many pharmacological reports are available on this important forest product. This review gives a detailed account of the chemical constituents and pharmacology of S. robusta. The results in the laboratory of authors, clearly demonstrated the utility of S. robusta as antibacterial product with wound healing properties.</style>
</record></records></xml>
