Problems
The implementation of the dual degree finds many problems. To my knowledge and experiences as a student i state them as :
We differ largely from the arts group who have no practicals at all. Ours is a practically oriented subject which necessarily requires some interest, dedication and hard work. The degree students in some colleges are left in the afternoon as they have no classes and the may pursue the other degree in distance education and may find time to prepare for the exams but the case is completely difficult in the case of pharmacy isn't ?
We need to attend the classes regularly in the morning and attend our practicals in the afternoon session compulsorily and we have to work hard to grasp the subject and to prove ourselves. So, we may not find time to pursue the other degree .
Even the problem lies with the college as all of them cannot meet the requirements and may lay behind
We cant pursue the other degree in distance education as we have practicals in our every subject.

Why Dual Degree?
Dear Rameshwar,
"Why should we go for dual degree, when we are busy with our academics?" Ofcourse this may not be correct in all respects. If we have that inetrest we can plan properly for completing distance course in interested areas like Clinical Trials, Drug Patenting, Regulatory Affairs or any other related zone to our subject itself such that we can gain some extra information and that zeal too.

Re: Why dual degree?
Dear sir,
The point you said was true even i mentioned in the blog that it woul not be possible.
hi mr rameshwar reddy
in b.pharm level you are right, but at m.pharm level in 3rd & 4th semester it is possible with little bit of risk If you are doing project work in your college u may find some time and after completion of m.pharm you will complete the course easily by joining as a faculty where u will find more time
