Proud to be a Pharmacist

The word "PHARMAKON" Refers to the drug and the pharmacists are the persons who are related with the all the drug related matters.Pharmacists are the saviours in this modern world.one must always be proud to be recognised as a "Pharmacist".
In my country many of the students opt for the field of pharmacy as they couldnt find themselves in a medical college and hence have entered into this profession, it is a truth which everyone of us must accept.The trend is going to change as it had already begun and it would continue and in the near future pharmacy would be the sole profession which would beat the I.T. sector and the moves are already taken.
Pharmacy in india is reaching the zenith with innovative measures taken by the government like introducing the Pharm-D course and many more.The Dramatical change was brought about with the introdution of the product patent in the year 2005 which has shifted the interests of the industry towars the R&D sector thereby creating copious employment oppurtunities and encouraging many to choose Pharmacy as their career.
It is a myth among many that pharmacists are the persons who work only in the dispensing section and are ignorant about the other wide divisions.I personally was the victim of this feeling as many our relatives commented me the same but the success we bring about will be the answer to every one.
My blog that is one must be proud to be a pharmacist reckons everyone to be proud of our divine profession as we are THE DIRECTORS IN A FILM WHO ARE SAID AS " THE HEROES BEHIND THE SCREEN".We toil hard preparing the new drugs and saving the mankind and serve the mankind with our skill and efforts.
