Safety Assessment Outsourcing Specialist -GSK-US-Philadelphia-Pennsylvania

Basic qualifications:

• Minimum BS degree - Science based first degree is required.
• Requires knowledge of the relevant science conducted in Safety Assessment (non-clinical / toxicology) and its role in drug development.
• Experience of working to WW Regulatory expectations and GLPs e.g. OECD, FDA, EU etc.

Preferred qualifications:

• Degree in Toxicology or related discipline is preferred. A post-graduate qualification in business/operational management also helpful.
• Experience in study execution e.g. Lead Scientist, Study Director or Study Monitor.
• Prefer a good understanding and experience of working in or with a CRO.
• Demonstrated excellent communication (oral, written, presentation) skills.
• Demonstrated ability to interact professionally with all levels of staff both internally and externally (e.g. CROs).
• Experience of working cross-culturally and able to demonstrate experience of working and thinking globally.
• Demonstrated ability to organise resources, prioritise work and deliver to tight timelines for multiple customers.
