Senior Research Scientist II Chemist -WYEYH-US- Pearl River-NY-United States

Provides timely, accurate data analysis support for 71 sheet releases (intermediates, raw materials, API, and related samples from Chemical Development) as necessary.

May be assigned as primary analyst for one or more projects in API in-process analysis group. Responsible for samples, methods and method transfer to TA areas for that project. This includes chromatographic and spectral analyses of intermediates, raw materials, related samples, impurity identifications, and release of pilot toxicology and GMP batches.

Supports cleaning verification analyses as necessary.

Maintains sample log database as necessary, including timely login and logout of samples.

Interacts with other chemists within the group or in other departments to provide optimum support.

Performs peer review of notebooks.

Oversees maintenance, qualification and calibration of instrumentation used for analysis.

Satisfactorily completes all cGMP, GLP and/or safety training as applicable to job requirements.
