When I was reading one of the Canadian Pharmacy Journals I found this article interesting, seems there is good news for asthma patients, now they don't have to use too many puffers such as rescue therapy, maintenance therapy... looks like "All-in-one"......

Symbicort Turbuhaler (budesonide/formeterol fumarate dihydrate by AstraZeneca Canada Inc.) is now approved as reliever therapy for asthma management in patients aged 12 years and older.  Patients may now use their Symbicort Turbuhaler on an as-needed basis to relieve acute asthma symptoms in addition to using it as regular maintenance therapy for long-term asthma control.  To relieve acute asthma symptoms, one inhalation of either strength is recommended as needed.  Up to 6 inhalations may be used to treat an episode of acute symptoms but should not exceed 8 puffs in a day.  Symbicort Turbuhaler is not to be used as reliever therapy alone, it must be used in addition to regular maintenance therapy.
