First of all, sorry for the delayed introduction due to the reason that I am out of station. I have attended Indian pharmaceutical congress-2010(IPC-2010) held at Manipal and presented a poster on "Public perception of community pharmacy services". I have used this as a pleasure trip also by visiting various places in and around Manipal and Bangalore. I came back just 3 days back and took my own time to settle down with the regular activities. Belated Christmas wishes and New Year wishes to all the members of pharmainfo.net. I wish that this New Year bring all of us happiness and success in all aspects. I also wish that much more advancements in pharma Industries and research will take place and the scientific knowledge, discussions spread to all of us through this skills test-2011. Coming to introduction of myself, I am G.Sailesh from Bapatla college of pharmacy, Bapatla, Andhra Pradesh, India which is one among the prestigious institutes. I was qualified in Gate-2009 and feel lucky enough to get a seat in this college and work under the guidance of our professor, principal, Dr.T.E.G.K.Murthy sir. I also take this opportunity to thank the moderators of pharma info.net web site for creating a platform like this to prove various skills. I regularly follow the blogs, power point presentations and various informative articles in this site. Now I am very happy for posting my first blog in this site. I thought of participating in skills test 2010 itself, but by then I am new to our college. After completing my B.pharm, one fine day when I was browsing the net found this pharmainfo.net web site. My association with this site began by presenting a power point presentation (PPC-04) on "Nanobiotechnology-anemergingscience"( http://www.pharmainfo.net/pppc03/nanotechnology-and-drug-development) to which Dr.T.E.G.K.Murthy sir was acting as one of the judges. Unexpectedly, I got pg admission in the same college where he is principal. Later, I participated in Third International group discussion contest and won second prize for that which I feel as one of my accomplishments (http://www.pharmainfo.net/pharmaglow/pharmindia-competitions/3rd-group-d...). I also presented a review article on "compression of coated multiparticulates"( http://www.pharmainfo.net/reviews/compression-coated-multiparticulates) and a special article on "Tips for preparing NIPER Entrance examination"( http://www.pharmainfo.net/niper-entrance-examination). Recently, I also presented another power point entitled "An overview of pellets"( http://www.pharmainfo.net/pppc08/overview-pellets). Through this site, I came to know about well experienced professors like Prof.Vijaya Ratna madam, lectures and associate professors like Eswar Sir, Amol.S.Malipani Sir, Khan Sir, Thomas Dixon Sir and some of active students like Santhosh kumar, Sirisha pingali, MD.Shafi. I also came to know about "Plagiarism" which I was not previously aware of it. I followed their posts regularly and sometimes I put comments on their posts. I congratulate the team "Atharvana" under the guidance of Dr.Vijaya Ratna madam for winning "skills test-2010" and also the team Sentinels, various students who won many prizes and participation certificates. I feel that Participation is itself as one of the victories. I am enjoying interaction with many people belonging to same profession from different parts of the country. And now, I feel more excited that I am going to interact with people from our neighbor country, "China" in the team name of "China CPU Challengers. " Their logo is simply super. I heart fully once again welcome them to skills test-2011. I am eagerly waiting for informative blogs from their side. Wishing you all a Happy and prosperous New Year!
