Dear all..another interesting trial conducted on Ewing's sarcoma - a cancer that affects in or near the bones mainly in teenage boys. The drug under case study is figitumumab which was found to be more effective in treating this sarcoma. The drug must undergo two more phases of testing, however, according to a report published in the Dec. 23 online edition of "The Lancet Oncology".

Shocking news!!!!! Basing on a complaint received from Superindent of King George Hospital (KGH), one of the ancient hospitals in Visakhapatnam, Drug inspector of Vizag inspected the medical store at KGH and found a "suspended black mass like matter" in "SODIUM LACTATE INJECTION" and "undissolved matter" in "PENTASOL IV INJECTION". While sending the drug samples to DCL (Hyderabad), the DI ATV Ramadevi advised the consumers, chemists, doctors and Govt. Hospitals not to use these two drugs.
