YOUR VIEWS PLEASE..
Respected teachers and seniors, here is the time where you should guide your students or juniors in taking a right step in their career. This would be useful for all the graduands in final year. So your decision is the need of the hour for us. Generally people after finishing their graduation:
1. may opt for Mpharm
2. may go for MTech
3. may go for MBA
4. may go abroad and pursue MS
5. may join in an industry
By this time it should be clear for everyone in what road should they travel. But i suppose none of us are able to take the right decision. I fear we would end with "THE ROAD NOT TAKEN..".
So i request you to answer the queries we post. Awaiting for your valuable comments.

Road that you like
It may sound odd but try to take road that you love. For that you should really open to listen to you heart. Most of us open our ears to friends or parents for decisions instead of for their opinions..but you should to your heart..to see what you like....not sure what i am talking...go and watch 3 idiots movie...

Wait for the work
Do M.Pharm that is the best way you for your job. Not to be hurry. After M.Pharm you can start may do MBA or MS after that. Its a long plan. The master plan.
Best wishes

good question
Dear Sirisha
Very good question. This question may be answered at two levels. First is the practical ( rational argument) level and the other is the abstract (looking at life) level.
First level: M.Pharm is logical extension of B.Pharm. It is a compulsory degree for taking up teaching in Pharmacy. Now the easiest job that can be obtained and done is teaching in pharmacy. Any other line will be a side line. I have seen people who did M.B.A and then struggle to exist in the field of management.
In any profession people having total qualification in one field get more respect and win more achievements. This is the scene in India at least.
Second level: I suppose you know what work you will be doing when you get a job after studying each of the courses you suggested. Close your eyes and imagine youself doing that job and also whether you can fit it in your life at personal life--- can you imagine yourself doing that and running family comfortably?
So spend some time on it. Choose the one with respect to which your imagination is giving you a sweet feeling.
From my childhood days I loved teaching , so I am a happy teacher. It does not bother me that my classmates and friends are earning a lot more than what I am earning. I am happy as I am doing something that I like.
I have seen people who take up teaching because they canot get an industry job and they suffer because they think they are not earning well, because they do not have job satisfaction and all that.
So use your thinking, then your imagination and decide then work hard to reach your goal.
Suppose you do not get it; just suppose; never mind; heavens don't fall. Just whatever you get do it with happiness. That is adjustment, be prepared for that also.
Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, a very great person, said, Life is like a game of cards; you play depending on what cards you get, following the rules of the game. That's life. No point in worrying about the cards you didn't get.
So see , this is what you get from teachers, LECTURES.
All the best Sirisha and remember me after you grow really BIG.

teacher - school mother
respected madam
thank you for the response. Here lies the difference of taking opinions from teachers and parents. My mother also a teacher has the same view. She gave the same synopsis to me especially when i said whats the big matter if i join industry?? without any knowledge ofcourse. Definitely madam your words are to be considered.
Moreover forgetting a teacher like you is impossible. You gave a couple of lectures in our college. Great leader like Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam said that the lecture given by his teacher Mr.Iyengar stills rings in his ears..How can i mam??
Thank you for clearing my mind oh sorry our minds.

The Right path depends on you
Dear Sirisha, I totally agree with sai as he has rightly pointed out the right road depends on your interest, but you must anticipate the future too and should justify your caliber for the path you have chosen. If you think doing M.Pharm (Biotech)is better you must go for it, rather than M.tech , because you have gained specialized knowledge related to Drugs which will prove handy.
